Rockingham County Public Library - Eden Branch

The front desk staff did not come across as friendly. I saw them being very impatient with a man who I don’t believe spoke English well. The short-haired African American woman acted as if he was inconveniencing her, which was hard to watch. My son and I visit this library often, and he enjoys playing with the STEM bags. We always put them back neatly, so I was surprised to see them zip-tied. When I asked why, she looked at me like I was asking something stupid and said, “Yeah, they’re not supposed to be played with here.” I honestly didn’t know that, and the response left me feeling unwelcome. At this point, I’d rather drive the extra 20 minutes to Reidsville. Libraries are already in decline, and it takes so little effort to simply be kind.

Staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. Great place to study.

This is the worst library I've EVER encountered in my entire LIFE! I'd rather drive 20 mins vs going to this library. It's always something with this library.

Don't waste your time going here to print something off. It's i am applying for a damn credit card!!!!

Great library for its size, staff is kind and helpful. I also enjoy the monthly activities like trivia and crafting.
