Rock Elm Revival

Good experience. Micheal was our service and he was perfect. Drinks and food came at a perfect time. I ate the Rock Elm Burger which was juicy. Fries were great. My Stella’s was good. My mother ordered the Brisket Taco which we both very much enjoyed (got it without cheddar). We will be back when in the area for more tacos and cheese curds. Thank you!

I’ve been taking my family to Rock Elm for over two years as it was always one of our favorite places. But in less than a week a new owner has come in and downgraded the menu and quality of the food. Looks like the rewards program is gone too. Sad to see this once extraordinary tavern become ordinary.

Can't say enough positive things. Fries instead of cheese curds? Yes please. I had the short rib melt which was delicious and my date had a very good salad. When the manager brought out our food we were both in shock because "we just ordered" he told us all nonchalantly that "well it's been like 8 minutes" and then we took our first bites and they were delicious. They've got the good cheese curds (though if I'm being picky and making one suggestion, I've had better pepper jelly elsewhere). On our first date at another tavern she had ordered an espresso martini, which was disappointing and then a lemon drop martini which was undrinkable, she followed the same 2 drink orders here and both were top notch, had to look back at the cocktail menu to see exactly what they use and take note. Sophie was so fun. I'd come back to this restaurant and ask to be seated in her section. Oh, and the food? I don't like Brussels sprouts, and these were very tasty. I would eat them again. I ordered the crab cake appetizer. Even though we are 1,600 miles from any ocean anywhere, the crab cake was amazingly delicious. The cocktails, and I had two, were strong pours and the recipes were spot on. Thanks, Sophie, for a great time!!

The food is delicious. Excellent beer selection- especially like the Cowbell Cream Ale. Enjoyed a tasty mocktail. And they donate to worthy non-profits! If we lived near Rock Elm, this would be our neighborhood joint!
