The food is like good home cooking, but you still feel hungry because the amount they put in the plate is (feather weight). Poke a fork in the plate and you reach the bottom so quick (not enough rice). I ordered a beef stew with potatoes. I got four dime sized beef cubes, three mini potatoes the size of 2 dimes, three lettuce shreds, two miniscule tomatoes, and one sauce cup the size of a 25 cents. Amount is good for someone watching their calories or coming out of surgery. If you're normal, you'd need to buy two plates for $14 ($7 each) to feel satisfied. I don't think the owner would increase the amount for a $7 plate if you ask her even though she's a pleasant person. They probably weigh the ingredients on a scale before putting it on the plate. It makes you feel like your in a hospital.
