Roch's Place

I really wanted to like this place and everything was going well until it wasn't. I got a Frisco melt and fries and my girlfriend got an Italian beef sandwich and onion rings. The food is excellent. Everything was hot and fresh and tasted great. When the bill came we saw that we got charged $1.50 for the peppers on her sandwich and $1 for the cheese. The add on stuff listed on the menu is under the burger section so when she asked if we wanted peppers and cheese we thought it would come with it since dry beef on bread wouldn't be very good and 99.999% of anywhere else that sells Italian beef gives you that stuff for free since that's generally part of the sandwich but some people don't like peppers. Every year (5 years running!) on Memorial day weekend, men and women representing multiple branches of our armed forces set out on a 20 mile Ruck March to raise awareness for the countless veterans of this country struggling with PTSD and at risk for suicide. Roch's is our halfway point and they always treat us like family. They our a vital part of our success and show us enthusiastic support on our journey. We're a family of five We tried the fried pickles, onion rings Burgers, pizza, and chicken Everything was hot, good portion, served as requested Including my husband's pizza that he asked for Italian beef on (not a menu item but they accommodated him) Refills were quick, the server was very nice Will definitely be back

Roch's Place is a great little family-friendly sports bar in a small town east of Urbana. The food and service were great, and the atmosphere was lively but sometimes a little loud for its older customers. Definitely recommended.
