Roast 808

After seeing good reviews online, I finally decided to try the espresso blend from Roast 808. The bean quality is absolutely amazing! What really impressed me was the espresso shot itself, it pulled beautifully and was incredibly smooth with absolutely zero bitterness. If you're a coffee enthusiast, I can't recommend them enough.

First time buyer. These beans were so good and so smooth unlike other beans I have gotten. This roast was so great I didn’t have to add much to my latte because of it. I can’t wait to go back and try more. The service was also great! My husband went in and answered all his questions.

This is a most try!! I had the honor to try the owner's recipe from México and it was exquisite. The body, the aroma and taste of the coffe was in such perfect balance. The place i full of fine art and spacious. Is not your regular small coffe shop. On the other hand, the city is making it really difficult for the owner to open up for the public with so many restrictions for a coffe shop. Everyone, go try out the coffe and let's support local businesses.

I've been trying local Chicago/suburban rosters and came across Roast 808. I drink espresso on a breville pro and have tried 3 of her coffees: cultiv8, medit8 and their decaf blend. Cultiv8 is fantastic. Pure chocolate. I could drink it all day long. Medit8 has chocolate with some of the hazelnut and apple coming through. The decaf blend is great as well. Anna has a great story about her journey into coffee roasting and hearing that, you can tell she has a passion for coffee which directly translates into the beans you buy. The coffee is freshly roasted and tastes great. I recommend you give her coffee a try.
