Roadside Restaurant

A pleasant surprise! I've lived nearby for many years now and I've never stopped to eat, partially because there weren't many menu photos available online and I wasn't sure if they would have any food options suitable for a pescatarian. Here, they have a general menu that's updated regularly (it's posted on the door if you want to look before going inside) and a rotating specials menu! On the general menu, I was pleasantly surprised with multiple seafood options! I had the shrimp skewer, which came with two sides (mashed potatoes and onion rings, although there are a lot of different options!), a drink (can of pop, no free refills) and the salad bar for a total of $13.78. Always a great meal served hot. Wonderful people. Great prices! The crabcakes are my favorite. Dinners including sides, drinks and salad bar!

I liked it. It feels like an old-school roadside cafe or diner from a bygone era. Some of the special menus are hand-printed. However, you can't beat the prices. Lunch specials, like a quarter pound cheese burger, fries and drink, $5.00! Turkey dinner with mashed potato, stuffing, salad and a side for $7.50. The turkey is real too, not that pressed stuff. I like it. Home style food at a cheap price.

You can’t beat the price! Staff are nice and food feels like that way you’d make yourself at home, home cooking, what could be better?

The food is incredibly cheap compared to most places.Salad bar is the smallest I've ever seen, and only a few choices for toppings,dressing in packets and lettuce was wilted. Food is ok but looks and tastes like microwave food. They say they have a dessert bar, but it's only 1 dessert on the salad bar and was pudding.Less than $50 for 4 of us but I would rather pay more and get good food.We were all hungry a couple hours later and had to eat again Do not recommend at all.Spend the extra and get a good tasting,filling meal.
