RJ's New England Seafood Restaurant

This sweet little mom and pop dinner is definitely a hidden gem here in Port Charlotte! This was our first time visiting and we were pleasantly surprised. You definitely get that local dinner feel upon entering and we were promptly greeted by the waitress. She was friendly and knowledgeable of the menu and specials. It became quite busy during our lunch however or waitress we so attentive, keeping our drink full at all times that uou never would have known. Everything tasted so fresh! From the new England clam chowder to the lobster mac and cheese!! Very impressed, reasonably priced, we will be back!!

This mom and pops seafood joint has to be the best kept secret in all of Port Charlotte! As I sat looking over the menu, tourists and locals were passing through for their popular lobster bisque and lobster rolls. The staff is so humble and accommodating. Food did not take long to come out. Man, was I shocked at the quality in every bite. I had to sampler plate with fish, juicy & plump jumbo shrimp, coleslaw and fries. Everything was perfection. I will be back!!!!

Fantastic New England fair. Lobster, clams with belly's fresh. Great soups. Clam chowder, lobster bisque, tomato. Fries are fantastic. Very clean. I saw the prep area and restroom. Get there before 5P or you'll have to wait. Great service. Food made to order. No spirits but beer and wine. Hidden gem.

This place is small and informal, but the food I had was awesome! I had the hot lobster roll and BF had the cold one. Hand cut fries were delicious and not greasy. Clam chowder was wonderful, as was the slaw. The servers were awesome! We were just visiting and asked about things to do and go. Very helpful!! Highly recommend this place, although it’s a little hard to find, but well worth the trip.

A smaller size restaurant in a small strip mall that you will truly enjoy if you love seafood. Probably the best fish and chips that I have ever had. Generous piece of haddock, very flavorful fries and yummy cole slaw. Very friendly service also.
