Riverview Ice Cream

This was a nice roadside experience. Burger was good, fish sandwich was good, fries were very good. Server was pleasant, there is a mini golf, a gym/climbing set and tables under cover. Addendum, my daughter in law really likes the chicken salad. She gets visibly excited when she knows I can pick one up for her.

Wasn't impressed with the service, ice cream or prices. Everyone always seem to hype up Putnam's pizza places or ice cream shops and I have yet to find one that I actually would rate above a three. Glad to see residents pride their neighborhood. I on the other hand found the portion of an ice cream scoop was small and melted when they handed it to me. I had the cookie dough ice cream in a cup and it had no flavor and 3 small cookie doughs. My friend had a sundae and it looked sloppy like they just poured hot fudge in the center, swirled whip cream on the edges and placed a cherry on top. Needless to say she paid over $7.50 for such small ice cream. They have tables to sit on with a tarp cover with holes as it was raining and every table was not suitable to sit at. Only positive side I saw

Best ice cream place in 2 towns. Homemade and they don't skimp you on the portions like deary bros and charge you 10 bucks a cone. Playground for the kiddos and you can get gardening and lawn care products there.

Great homemade soft and hard ice cream. I usually don't like vanilla ice cream and now it's my go to at Riverview ice cream

The service here sucks. Employees will look right at you and walk by. No assistance, no ‘be right with you’. You would think a seasonal ice cream place would try their hardest not to have customers leave due to lack of service. I’ll take my business to We-Lik-It or Mike’s Stand this summer.
