Riverside Bar & Grill

7/30/25 Had an early dinner here. This used to be a regular haunt for us, but we haven’t been here for a few years. This was our first time back under the new ownership. Food prep took a little longer than we’re used to, but well worth the wait. Burger was cooked to perfection and the sweet potato fries were the best we’ve ever had. The Mexican special was good as well. The servings were generous. Definitely a do-again. The bartender was friendly and attentive.

Inexpensive and reliably good food and drinks. Nice customers and accommodating staff

Stopped by after a walk at nearby Higganum Cove. The waitress went over the specials one of which was the fajitas. Choice of steak chicken or shrimp. I chose the steak. A hot skillet comes out with some great steak with peppers onions and tomato and some hot fresh tortillas and another whole plate with rice bean with cheese and salad and it was an awesome meal. Some of the best fajitas I have had! Service was great as was the waitress who was from Ecuador. I ate and had enough leftovers for 3 more fajitas at home for my daughter.

Good selection of draft beers. The nachos and the tacos are excellent!
