Riverfront Grille

1st time eating here and definitely will be back. Loaded baked potato soup in a bread bowl and my husband got beef tacos. $20 out the door for the 2 meals, included a n/a drink too. 🥳

The view on the back deck is beautiful. The service is good. The food is… ok. The potato salad was REALLY BAD. Clearly day old potatoes (maybe 2 day old?) just not yummy at all. BUT our sandwiches were ok. Would be back to try dinner because the view and service are good.

Mushroom Swiss burger was okay, not hot enough, and ask for it without the toppings because it takes away from the mushroom and Swiss experience. Service was friendly, especially to my husband on Valentine's Day ;) If you're local, it's probably a place to visit often.

My friend's and I were doing a road trip from Orion to Lakefield township cemetery our 1st stop was Chesaning we had to use the bathroom we spotted the grille and decided to have lunch and was pleasantly surprised we had chicken strips and fries everything was great the strips and fries were surprisingly the best we've ever had so fresh and hot and the waitress was nice also.

We were there for fathers day. We checked it out online and the pictures are definitely from when they first opened. The inside was very dingy, dirty and dark. Like a dive bar atmosphere for sure. The one nice section they had was roped off. We decided to check out the balcony and it's a nice view but only half the deck was shaded. The rest was obviously in the sun. So if it's a hot day like that day you want shade. There was no umbrella for the table. we sat inside and it was cold and just felt dirty. The waitress was friendly but everything took a long time to get it but seemed like the regulars were well taken care of. Took over an hour to get our meals. The food was good. The place wasn't packed at all. Just not a place I would recommend.
