River Trail Brewing

Went here Thursday afternoon. The place isn’t much to look at from the outside. The staff was friendly and helpful. Service was fast and very good. They have a good variety of beers on tap. I tried all 8 and they were all good, some very good. Wasn’t sure what to expect from the food either such a big menus and a small place but the food we got was very good especially the chicken Cesar wrap and the chicken wings. The only thing I didn’t like is the chairs are very uncomfortable.

It is a hole in the wall but in the best possible way. The food is good and the beer is as well. Football on the tv and good beer. Eric was at the bar and was slinging good vibes and was very attentive to his customers. All the stars for him.

Really liked this place!! Only about 8 beers to pick from but the ones we had were good!! Had a selection of appetisers to share which were all good!!went on a Tuesday afternoon and there were a few other people there!! Seems like a comfy, cozy hometown pub! Had to order food through the bartender and had to pick up our food from the bar...looked like only the bartender and cook working at this time! The bartender was lovely, chatty and very personable! Looks like a lot of things happening out in the patio area on the weekends! There is an outdoor fireplace...there are Cornhill boards(have to ask to get them out)...tables with umbrellas and a pavilion with tables! I liked it!!

Ordered for a few co-workers from a nearby office. I'm not usually picky, but the food was terrible. First, the shrimp was BURNT! Not just overcooked, but burnt. Then, they forgot the dipping sauces for the shrimp too. Probably wouldn't have helped anyway. Other co-worker got a salad that was pre-dressed and swimming in dressing. The entire thing was already soggy before she even took a bite. I like to support local businesses in Marietta, but unfortunately, after how much this food costs, we won't order from here again. Might want to check orders before they're picked up. As someone who worked in the service industry, these shrimp wouldn't have been anywhere but the trash.

We loved this place and will be back! Awesome environment and staff! The dog loved it too! The food and dessert (get the cheese cake)! This place has it all; Eric is great!
