River Street Sweets

I recently brought my two nieces in for some candy, and they had so much fun picking out their treats. The owners were so nice to them and their dog and helped them pick out some candy. Although the girls picked out all the factory made candy, I can’t say enough how delicious the chocolate turtles are. Thank you for being so sweet to them. Look forward to the next visit.

I stopped by this place for the first time today after seeing them featured at the end of a Barstool Sports Pizza Review. This candy store is utterly fantastic. It has such a great variety of anything you are looking for, whether it is popcorn, pralines, taffy, caramels, etc. The staff is friendly and attentive and all the chocolates I bought were fresh and delicious. It can seem a bit costly, but it is so worth it since everything is homemade. I will definitely stop by again the next time I drive through the area.

Amazing family owned and operated place! So nice to see the people working so passionate about their products and how they and their family make everything themselves! Tried the watermelon gelato (incredible!!) and left with a ton of goodies for the road!)

What a great candy store! They have a huge variety, from retro to true Savannah River sweets traditions... Beautifully designed and staff that is so friendly and full of family history! Be sure to stop in, grab a treat and conversation... You wont be disappointed!! Ice cream too!

This is such a lovely store started by wonderful people. They have a huge selection of candies and make tasty in-house conditions. Their gelato is excellent though expect to pay the tourist tax on it. The older lady who runs a part of the store (owner?) was just grandmotherly endearing to my son. He was elated coming out of the store and said her interaction was the highlight of his evening.
