River Ridge Golf Course

This is a great out of the way course. It has a lot of great features no par 5 holes but lots of water to shoot over and doglegs too. The staff is very friendly and members are allowed to continue play or tee off before and after staff close up for the day. The owner is also a great guy and easy to work with. He has a great membership rate for troops. It’s a nice laid back course.

Usually have great experiences here. On my last visit I experienced something different unfortunately. I booked a tee time for two golfers for 18 holes with a kart. The girl who took my reservation entered it in for 9holes. When we showed up 40mins early and went to pay for our tee time she told us it was for 9 holes. This is where the problem occurs. She insisted that she couldn’t have made a mistake and basically said tuff shit to us and there was nothing she could do. She was incredibly rude towards us as-well after explaining to her that my buddy had driven two hours from Ephrata to make a 840 am tee time for 18holes. We had to scramble to fill out the rest of our day by calling around only to get turned away at every other municipal course in the area and eventual played 9 holes at

I play here a couple times a month. It's not perfect, but I like it. Has a few holes I really enjoy, and a few I don't. It is, in my opinion, better than it was a few years ago. There is one hole that seems like it's always underwater except in the Spring. It probably has more to do with the water table and nearby river than poor grounds staff. They work with what they have. The rest of the course has a few interesting hazards (goose poop) but overall I still like the course. I go here knowing this course isn't Suntides or Apple Tree. I play those courses and pay for an experience that is on par for the price. I play here and I believe the course fits the price. Food was great. Service was a bit dim, especially considering there was only about 10 people there. But we would go back.. I would like to say that we went back the next weekend and the service was great and the food was even better! Found out that we had a different chef this time and we also had a different waitress.
