River Lily Inn Bed and Breakfast

My husband and I stayed in this delightful B&B! I called the B&B and Al (owner with wife Mary) patient with me to pick the perfect room! There was plenty of hot water and pressure and we had our own heat and air control in our room. The B&B s situated in an excellent location across from the Halifax River and between Ormond Beach and Daytona which is easy drive to either area and just minutes away to see all the many attractions and museums in the area. There is plenty of onsite parking! We had hot coffee awaiting us each morning on a table in the hallway outside out room. The breakfast each morning was varied and tasty and carried us through until late in the day. All the staff was very good and made us feel welcomed. We were in the area for my niece’s baby shower. One of the ladies in our party found the inn online and thought it would work. It did!! There were 5 in our party. ||From the minute we stepped out of the car, we were in love. Lush gardens, view of the River and a heart shaped pool😊||As we entered the inn we were warmly greeted by Mary and a very eclectic home. So many fun and fascinating things to look at. ||The dining room was lovely with its vintage decor. In the morning we were served a very tasty, elegant, breakfast. Fruit and yogurt parfait, warm muffins, avocado tomatoes, omelets with choice of fillings, potatoes and bacon. From the moment we stepped out of the car, we loved this place!! Lush gardens, beautiful views and a heart shaped pool. There were 5 of us in the area for a baby shower. We were welcomed by Mary, into a warm, eclectic, fun entry way. So much to see. The dining room was very bright and very vintage. In the morning we were served a wonderful breakfast of omelets, fruit parfaits, warm muffins and more. We also enjoyed visiting with Mary and Al while we ate. Mary told us to make ourselves at home which we did. In the landing by the rooms is a buffet table where we set up snacks and a refrigerator to chill our wine. The rooms were clean, the beds comfortable and the sheets soft. We really enjoyed the inn, Mary and Al!! I know we will go back.

The Low Tea lunch on Wednesday was beautiful and delicious! They made special treats for the younger ladies that had lunch in our party and I thought that was a nice touch. The cucumber sandwiches and ham sandwiches were very appetizing. The egg salad on croissant and salad were delectable The lemon blueberry scones were the best I have ever had! The tea we had was an exquisite vanilla chai. I would definitely recommend Polly’s tea room for a nice change of pace for lunch options.

Not only is this place a beautiful secret, it has an amazing host and owner with Mary. All the details are purposeful and take you away from home, even if home is 30 minutes away. The River Lily Inn is stunning from the outside, especially with the water right across the street. Inside is very charming and appealing for all. It is not just a visit, it's an experience you won't be disappointed with. Definitely book in advance for the holidays - they get busy AND it's even more spectacular for get togethers, whether personal or business. Thank you Mary for the best experiences at River Lily Inn!!!
