Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Best place for a pit stop when it's hot. Swedish fish Italian ice is the best. It wasn't busy at all. Good service. The picnic tables out front are nice and clean.

Ordered a 5-layer gelati. 7.99. I have ordered this many times from many different locations. When I received my order I asked to make sure didn't order the small accidentally. She told me this is the 5-layer. This is like half the size of what it usually is. I believe the person thinks all gelatis go in this one size container no matter the size you choose. Just look at the picture this is a 5 layer in a 4in cup. I wonder what the 4 or 3 layer one would look like...Make sure you ask to see the cup they are serving your order in beforehand, cause they are not properly trained at this location.

The ice is good but they need to train the young girls that work there better. I got a small custard for my son then went back later that day to get a large one for myself and it was smaller than the one I got earlier. I asked if this was a large and she said yes. Not worth $5. I guess I’ll edit my review since I can’t reply. If the difference is only “1 or 2 bites” then it should just come in one size. My small was definitely bigger than my large so yes, that is a training issue. Clearly this scale that you swear by isn’t being used. 🤷🏻‍♀️

I got two of these “larges” and paid $11.63 at Rita’s store #181. It’s not even two spoons full are you kidding me and when I asked the kids working they just looked at me. Both filled the same

I must have accidentally posted a review before! I normally write in my reviews so I found it odd there were 3 stars and no written review. So I would like to correct that. The owner of this Rita's is very nice and always is kind when me and my family swing by for some Italian ice or custard. Much appreciated. She caters to our needs and we always leave feeling like she cares about her customers. We always look forward to coming back. 👍🏼❤
