Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Unfortunately, this establishment has gone downhill. I paid in cash and the worker didn't even have change and asked me if I had a penny, I said keep the change. You ask for a napkin and they count how many they give you. The owners are super cheap and we will not be buying Rita's from here anymore. Prices are also super high, most grocery stores carry better ice cream...

Today, I had the pleasure of visiting with students from Kennedy Krieger School, and I just have to share how amazing our experience was. The gentleman working the opening shift was truly exceptional. From the moment we arrived, he greeted both the students and staff with such a warm, enthusiastic, and genuinely happy tone. He went above and beyond by noticing that some of the students were having difficulties and immediately met them where they were, showing incredible patience and understanding. What really stood out was how he brought the items outside to us, making the process much easier. So this was the only location open this off season. At 1:45pm I called because I needed that Green Apple Italian Ice🤪 The gentleman picked up, even though they weren't scheduled to open until 2pm. He said yes ma'am we will have green apple today. Were on the way 💨💨💨. The 2 gentlemen working there were very pleasant and engaging unlike a lot of places nowadays 🙄 Thank you for satisfying my Italian Ice craving, even though it was 20 degrees 🙃. There is one guy (Kyle) who works here who is super friendly. He gives you suggestions on what you may like and he always makes sure that what you are given is perfect. Recently I went and someone gave me a Reeses Mudslide that looked different than when Kyle made it. He noticed it was missing hot fudge. He remade it perfectly and added hot fudge. It is really a pleasure seeing Kyle when I go to Rita's in the Quarry.

Update: Kyle, the store manager reached out to us. He explained that the kid who was working that night was borrowed from a different location due to a last minute call in. That kid will not be back at his location again (or possibly any location). Kyle asked us to come back in next time we were in town so he could remake our order. We arrived at about 1:30 in the afternoon, not realizing they don't open until 2. We were returning to our car when the associate there, who happened to be Kyle although we did not know that, nor did he know who we were, invited us to come in. He explained they didn't open until 2, so he wasn't quite all set up yet, but he was happy to help us. He took plenty of time with us making sure we enjoyed what we ordered and letting us sample flavors. We left
