Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Absolutely unbelievable. This was the first time I’ve ever went into Rita’s Italian Ice & Frozen Custard and oh my goodness this completely blows away any ice cream shop that I’ve gone to yet in the valley. I’ve always been a fan of Cold Stone Creamy including Dairy Queen but this put them all to shame. It’s funny I’ve driven past this store multiple times going down Tatum but never thought of pulling in until tonight and I don’t regret it one bit. The Customer Service was stupendous. You can tell that the man behind the counter really supports his products and enjoys seeing his customers truly satisfied. So I decided to go with my usual staple like I do other places and I did a chocolate vanilla swirl in a sundae cup size large.

from Philly originally and miss the food and dessert very much. I stopped by here and got a quart of coconut cream water ice to take home with me. best customer service ever. I drove 20 mins to come here since the employees are much friendly here than the one in Glendale. thanks for the water ice and reminder of "home".

First time having frozen custard. Took my oldest son and we got the twist which is vanilla and chocolate. Those are the only flavors they have and then you can choose from toppings if you like. It was good, kinda like a cross between ice cream and fro-yo but you can only eat a little before your stomach hurts. It’s really rich and dense. They have this thing that is frozen Italian ice with a little frozen custard on top. I think that would be really good since it’s just a dollop, probably not as rich as getting a whole bowl of frozen custard and I can imagine it would be very complimentary to frozen Italian ice. I signed up for the app because I saw an advertisement about getting a free ice when you sign up. However, when I signed up I did not get a free ice nor did it show on the app or on the register. Please fix the app or the advertising.
