Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

I'm in love with Rita's. The Italian ice is so good and I've just tried the Gelati for the first time; the custard is creamy and goes really well with the fruity flavors. Customer service is awesome here as well. Very cute environment. Coming back soon! I need quarts of this stuff.

Love this place. It's definitely not a healthy place for a diabetic (me 😅), but they have interesting flavors, great portions (order the Small; the Large is a lot, tbh) and are pretty affordable. The power seems to go out a lot in the summer, but that's not their fault.

I visited the Fairfax Rita’s location with my daughter last week. There was a new worker there who was so unfriendly, it even bothered my ten year old. She asked why he was being so mean and also commented that he didn’t seem to like his job. Maybe he was having a bad day? We were there around closing time, but I assumed the owner pays the workers to stay a few minutes to allow customers to finish eating. The worst part was having the lights turned off on us before we exited the store front. It was a really unwelcoming experience from start to finish. We will visit the Vienna location in the future.

Visited Wednesday April 2. I usually love Rita’s. The kid working there as beyond rude. He seemed annoyed I was there near closing and he wanted to leave. He stood there with his arms folded and when I asked simple questions like “Is there enough for a large ice” he told me to “look at it yourself.” I can’t recall the last time I encountered such an arrogant attitude through an entire encounter at Rita’s. Every question I asked seemed like I was bothering him. He was likely a new hire because I never saw him there last year and I went to that location a lot. I predict he won’t last a month there with that attitude. He should find a job where he never interacts with the public, especially at an ice cream shop. I didn’t go there for an attitude. I’ll go to another location from now on until

Looking for a place to get some taste and affordable Ice Cream this is the perfect place to be. The crew are nice and very attentive so there is less wait time. Highly recommended.
