Rita's Italian Ice & Frozen Custard

Thinking or water ice, I think about Rita's. This place is just off Lancaster Ave, with very limited parking. But I am able to get in get out most of the time. Our favorite at this place is always mango ice. Good place and good water ice. Try this place.

Lovely spot , easily accessible , welcoming staff , good atmosphere , less than 10 parking spots , loved the location located on route 30.

I usually have good service at this location, but tonight, the young gentleman, Aiden, left me with a dissatisfied experience. My sister asked about grape water ice, to which he said they didn’t have any, which is fine. However, he added “if it makes you feel any better, we had it yesterday.” That did not, in fact, make her feel better. He forgot our order and then said it had been a slow day and he just wanted to eat his cheesesteak. Very unprofessional coming from someone who has worked in the food service industry for almost seven years. The strawberry water ice also was not pumped enough and there were a ton of ice chunks. BRING BACK THE NERDS GRAPE WATER ICE PLEASE.

Emily Clarke is the greatest employee I’ve seen in the past half-decade, I, a pregnant single mother, walked into this Rita’s hoping for a sweet treat, but it quickly turned sour as I went into labor. Fearfully, I screamed for someone to call 911, but it was too late, Emily stepped up and helped deliver my baby, as well as give my newborn a frozen treat upon arrival. 10/10 customer service.

Constant long waits with only ONE cashier while other workers are aimlessly sitting around inside. I spent 25 minutes waiting in line with only one person in front of me. More people need to work the cashiers avoid unhappy customers.
