Ristorante TOSCA

We went for my girlfriend's birthday and it was absolutely exceptional. Every course was world class, but the Carbonara stole the show. There are a few times in my life I've had dishes stick in my mind. I can easily recall details of the presentation, the smell, the taste. I get to relive it. I'll remember the Chocolate Carbonara forever. I think I'll have a little bite of it right now.

This downtown DC Italian spot is a must-visit! The pasta is incredibly fresh and authentic, and the service is impeccable. A perfect blend of classic elegance and delicious food. Great for a special night out!

Marvelous meal with impeccable service during Restaurant Week: 2 scallops each served on its half shell surrounded by a flavorful medley of fresh corn and more, veal entree served medium rare with an outstanding sauce, dessert of zabaglione with a large number of fresh strawberries. And since wines by the glass were pricey and they offered several half bottles, I opted for a half bottle of Pinot Grigio for a few dollars more, and could enjoy the wine throughout the meal.

DID YOU KNOW that there is a chefs table in the kitchen at Ristorante Tosca?!?! I cannot fully explain how amazing this 2.5 hour experience was. From the warm reception at the front of the house to the friendly smiles we received when we entered the kitchen, this experience was nothing short of amazing! Michelin Star Chef Fortunato made us the most amazing 7 course tasting menu describing every special detail added to the dishes. John, the manager/sommelier stuck with us through the night. Overall this was the most special dining event with mouth watering food that I have ever experienced. The photos are of each course in order. Not all items are quite on the menu yet and they do not have names. Just get the chefs table and you will not be disappointed.

An amazing foodie experience. The personal experience from ALL the staff from the moment we walked in made for the start of an truly special anniversary dinning experience. Well worth the $$$. Jackets are not required for gentlemen, but I was also one of the very few without. The food was delicious and the photos don’t do them Justice. The neighboring tables were engaging and open for menu suggestions back and forth. And I think we saw a notable or too if your into the DC scene.
