After spending the day at the zoo we decided to go to this restaurant. The service was great, the food was tasty and the amount of food they serve for the money you pay is fantastic. Even one of the managers came to our table to check on us and asked if everything was to our liking. The environment was very family oriented and they had de Real Madrid game on the tv so another star for that.

We have not dined in so can’t rate their service. Take out service has always been friendly and quick. We usually get the pupusas, fried tacos, and on this occasion we tried their flan de coco and cuajada (curdled cheese). Everything was good and we keep coming back.

The churrasco con camarones (shrimp with grilled skirt steak) was flavorful and tasty. The pupusa doble queso (double cheese in a flat corn tortilla dough) was nice, hot and cheesy. The tamale de gallina (hen tamale) was tender and well seasoned. The frijoles colorados (cooked red kidney beans) cocidos were tender, nice seasoned. However, they were very salty. These beans would taste even better if they were a teaspoon less salty. Otherwise, the red kidney beans soup would be have been perfect! Lastly, the estimated delivery time was 30 to 60 minutes. The delivery took a long while (we live less than 2.5 miles away) as the store’s delivery guy got here around 53-minutes after we placed the order.
