Today my wife and I visited this place because we stopped in Miami for one night before leaving on a cruise. We are Puerto Rican, but we have eaten at Cuban restaurants in different parts of the world, and let me say that the experience at this place was horrible and honestly beyond comprehension. I ordered a Cuban sandwich and my wife ordered a Medianoche. We started eating and immediately realized that something was not right. The sandwiches were dry, completely lacking flavor or seasoning. There was no mustard, no butter—nothing. It honestly felt like eating a piece of wood. The waitress came by and asked if everything was okay. Very respectfully, we told her no and explained the reason. Her response was one of the most absurd things I have ever heard in my life: “We don’t make them wit
My first visit to El Rinconcito Cubano was a very pleasant surprise. The restaurant has a large, welcoming saloon with attentive waitresses constantly checking in to offer help. Service is excellent and really makes the dining experience stand out. Prices are very accessible for the quality offered. To end the meal, a classic Cuban cafecito or cortadito hits the spot, while our kids enjoyed a delicious chocolate ice cream. A great place to return.
Had the masas d puerco, really well made. Tried the rabo encendido it was great. Tried the bistec palomilla it was good too. The Moro, the white rice were ok. The mashed potatoes was blah. Frituras de malanga appetizer was too greasy. Jugo de marcuya was well made. 4 adults 1 child. 1 appetizer, 2 jugos, 1 croqueta, 4 meals. They charge containers to take left over food unfortunately. Nothing big but.... $111 18% tip automatically added.
Amazing place! Great food, great portions, lovely server, and music. Definitely recommend coming here for a good sandwich or brunch. The only thing I sideeyed was a certain flag about lives that are blue that aren't the smurfs, but I don't expect anything else from Cubans in Miami. Overall, I recommend!
Absolutely enchanting locale! The ambiance is delightful, complemented by exceptionally warm and caring staff. Although our server faced a language barrier, another gracious server stepped in to assist with seamless translation and order placement. The cuisine? Utterly divine! The bread paired with the breakfast omelets is simply heavenly, while the Mango juice is very fresh and just too good to be missed. The vegetarian Mexican fried rice was equally flavorful, and the Cuban coffee is simply too good to resist! Already dreaming of my second visit.
