Rike's Burger & Brew

My husband and I stopped by Rike’s Burgers & Brew while passing through Troy, Alabama to charge our electric vehicle, and we are so glad we did. We ordered the Rike’s Burger to go, but decided to sit inside while waiting on our car. The burger came fully loaded with lettuce, tomato, two well-seasoned patties, cheese, bacon, and a sweet bacon jam on the bottom bun. It also included onions, which we removed, but everything else stayed exactly as it came. The seasoning on the patties stood out immediately, and the combination of bacon and bacon jam added the perfect balance of savory and slightly sweet. Man, what an awesome burger. I got the Pimento Cheese Burger and it was probably one of the best burgers I ever eaten. Wait staff was very friendly and attentive.

I have been here as a guest twice this week. I had a chicken wrap and the wagyu nachos. The serving size is pretty large and I had to take half of my food home each time. The food is great and the service is nice. I would go here with family on special occasions and still want to try out other items on their menu.

Tonight, the Resturaunt was understaffed ran out of chicken wings and chicken not to mention scraping up ketchup, 20 minutes for a table, 20 minutes for a drinks, never got our appetizer. Might as well close the kitchen if you don’t have the staff to run it properly. This place won’t last long if this continues. The staff that was there, was kind when they did come to our table. Also get some mayo in a bottle. People are paying 15$ for a burger.

I had the pimento cheeseburger and it was phenomenal. Definitely a great place to grab a burger that isn’t just another fast food place here in Troy.
