Riffle Cafe

We used to eat at the Riffle Cafe all the time pre-Covid, when they were open for dinner, but hadn't been back there since they stopped serving dinner. Their food had always been good. We eat out weekly, and have found that the majority of good restaurants now seem to be cutting some corners in food quality (prepared mixes instead of from scratch, no more real butter for example), in addition to being pretty high priced, so went to the Riffle Cafe with modified expectations. I love to cook, and am an expert cook at home, using fresh ingredients and real butter when cooking, so what I say next comes from 30 years of doing that. This hidden gem of a joint was such a delight to find! With some genuinely delicious food options and the nicest staff ever, our visit was the perfect way to end a birthday weekend trip! The biscuits and gravy were so fluffy and delectable, the sourdough pancakes phenomenal (they're a special for a reason) and the omelettes equally yummy! Stay a while and indulge in the many delightful offerings- special shout out as well to the absolutely amazing blueberry muffins! Some of the best muffins we've ever had!

WOW! This place is incredible. I’m a pretty darn good cook so I don’t like going out to eat often……the food is homemade for sure with some recipes I’d love to have!! Fantastic. We are new to the area and this place will be a regular stop for us. Awesome service and mimosas as well!

Love this place! Never expected it from passing by but the food is hometown cookin wonderful! And I am a picky eater. I appreciate the unique atmosphere and looks on the inside. The service was outstanding, servers were friendly, outgoing, real, and prompt with your needs. My family ordered breakfast and the serving sizes do not disappoint. I got a burger and it was flavourful and cooked just right. They were able to accommodate gluten free 🩶. We are coming back here when we visit next for sure!

ordered the ribeye with eggs and home fries. the ribeye was under cooked and flavorless, the home fries had no seasoning on them and tasted like they were cooked in lots of oil and they were hard. the only thing cooked right were the eggs and this was a $25 meal. spend your money somewhere else for a good breakfast.
