Ridgefield Public Library

This is a very well-run library. I've been a patron here for years, visiting every week at this point, and am familiar with the staff at this library. The staff at this library branch provide THE BEST SERVICE. They are super friendly, helpful, welcoming as well as very knowledgeable, organized, and quick. The children's services (babytime, storytime) are well done every week with Ms. Aviva. The children's play area is fun for kids to hang around. The summer reading programs/events for children are well done. My children and I have received such great services from this library for years now. So thankful for them in our community!

One of the best public library in Garden State.

What a great place for tots! Aviva, the childrens librarian, has lots of energy & runs programs with educational songs & carefully chosen books. The childrens room has some unusual features including a fruit/vegetable stand with toy fruits & vegetables, a kitchen with pots, pans & cutlery, and some more common favorites like legos & trains with train tracks. I was able to spend 2 hours there with my 9 month old & he was perfectly happy. Thank you for providing this wonderul place for caretakers & their charges!

Ridgefield Library is our community’s treasure, in main part thanks to the extraordinary staff including Regina, Dana and Zach. The aforementioned three employees consistently provide extraordinary customer service, go above and beyond to help, do more than their share of the tasks before them and do so with a warmth and eagerness to help that makes patrons feel welcome and want to come back. While the facility is beautiful, well stocked, clean and orderly, it will always be the staff and unparalleled customer service that makes the library the hidden jewel that it is.

I had the pleasure of performing with the Florian Schantz Jazz Combo recently and was impressed with the homey atmosphere, and extra hospitality of the staff. Really nice library!
