Rico Taco Mex 2

We highly recommend Rico Taco Mex 2 in Keansburg!!! This family owned restaurant is full of heart and delicious authentic Mexican food. The flavors are bountiful. We especially love their homemade tamales. The atmosphere is intimate, warm, and inviting. The staff is kind and welcoming. We highly recommend giving them a try!!!!

I ordered for pickup and the food was absolutely delicious. I thought the chicken nachos were flavorful and I always prefer shredded chicken on nachos (some places it's cube cut) the veggie tacos 🌮 were exploding with levels of flavor and the steak tacos cooked to perfection. The restaurant itself was clean and had seating for inside dining but it is a small restaurant, so that's the only reason I gave a 4 star for atmosphere, since you probably couldn't have a large party inside.

Run dont walk here!! The woman that runs the place makes all the food with love. We order every week. I am so hooked on their birria quesadilla, its insane. They do a BEC on a hard roll thats even better than some NYC bodegas. The amount you get, for the price, AMAZING! We love Rico's!

I really loved the food, specially the tacos were sooo good but the lady was extremely rude. It was my first time here and was thinking of going back even tho it’s a little far but I think she was tired and took the anger on us because she was throwing the food at us, talking in a bad way and overall bad service. If she’s so tired then she should hire someone else to help her instead of treating her costumers bad😡 I come to a restaurant to not cook at home and be treated nicely. It’s a shame because I loved the food and it was expensive too!
