Rick's Barbecue

Ordered through uber eats here, and when I got my beef baked potato it was missing sour cream and bacon bits, no fork, napkin or sauce either. Came in a few weeks later thinking maybe it was just the night shift crew that was iffy, but it just felt unprofessional overall, the majority of the kitchen crew staff were a bunch of cussing teenagers who werent paying attention to their orders. Still, I went in person a few weeks after and the food was actually a good portion and the bun for the sandwich wasnt stale which I've had in the past. On a positive note, their food portions are quite good for the price, especially their drink sizes, just be weary about online ordering, and maybe have your teen staff learn some customer service skills and be friendlier. The food would be better if the workers spent more time on the quality of the actual potato instead of in each other people faces. The potato wasn’t even warm. It was cold and hard. The chicken tenders are always great. This place used to be good when the woman who owned it was here more often. But oh well.

I received poor service today. I ordered a BBQ plate and a BBQ potato at the drive through. Made it 5 minutes down church street and realized there was no potato. I returned to the store to get the rest of my order. I was met with very unprofessional kids. Swearing and talking about me while I was standing there. I requested a partial refund since I now had to wait an additional 5 to 10 minutes and the other meal I ordered was cold. I was quickly told no with no explanation. I was told I could get a refund for the potato or I could eat the potato. Considering I had just worked 10 hours at the hospital and this was my dinner, I wanted the potato. The only pleasant worker was the young man that took my order. The remaining staff were unprofessional and rude. Made no effort to make it right.

We just paid 28.00 for 3 loaded potatoes that were still hard and practically raw inside. Im now at work with a raw potato! I called and pretty much was told to bring it back to have it replaced with the receiptin my mothers car headed back to Chapel Hill. Im on a 12 hour shift! Thanks but no thanks for nothing....

Wish I could give this place zero stars!! The new owners have turned this place into a nightmare! 32 minutes for a combo is what I had to wait in line. Then got home and my order was completely wrong!! How do you mess up a BBQ order? Tell me please? It's the simplest food to serve!!!! Will never return!!
