Richard's Super Premium Ice Cream

This is definitely a hidden gem! Every flavor of ice cream was a hit! I ordered the sweet potato and banana pudding crunch, but I was so distracted by tasting other flavors that i didn't realize until I was up the street that they forgot my sweet potato! Nevertheless, the crunch was all good by itself! I do wish that it was a little colder, but overall I definitely recommend this spot for a sweet treat or a quick bite to eat.

This place is amazing!! I tried the peach vodka ice cream and it was delicious. I also tried a few other flavors. Someone's 31 flavors has nothing on Richard's. They also serve food if you would like to have a bite to eat. Hidden away in the Pullman industrial district. Go give them a try.

OMG!!! This ice cream is so good! Best icecream I’ve had in my entire life! The strawberry cookies & cream was so good that I ate half the pint on the way home. The strawberry tasted exactly like the fruit. No artificial flavors at all! My boyfriend got the sweet potato pie and he had to immediately put the pint in the fridge or he was gonna finish the whole thing in one sitting! Everybody was so sweet in the shop too! I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors!

Very kind, friendly and hospitable staff. Hubby and I found this wonderful ice cream shop on TikTok @8pm. A 20min ride from where we live but the drive was well worth it. We bought a pint of sweet potato pie, pineapple mango and banana pudding. All of them were thick, creamy, smooth, interestingly stretchy and the flavor is excellent. You must try the sweet potato pie. They have so many unique flavors that we are going to go back and try. It is in an industrial area so keep your eyes peeled or you might miss this hidden treasure!

I wish this photo could capture how creamy and delicious this ice cream is! The banana pudding actually tastes like banana pudding, with crunchy pieces of vanilla wafers. And the sweet potato pie? I don't even like sweet potato pie, but after being offered so many samples by the kind soul at the freezer, I fell in love with the ice cream. The sweet potato pie flavor was full of cinnamon and nutmeg, also with beautiful texture from the vanilla wafers. If you like ice cream, you have to come here. And the service? Smiles and kindness to the max. So grateful to have stopped here from Detroit!
