Richard's Grinders

I’ve been going to Richard’s for decades, awesome place, always friendly, great food but it seems like things have changed! I ordered take out tonight. The sandwiches were reversed from what I ordered. There is a reason why people request certain types of bread, so those sandwiches couldn’t be eaten without switching the insides myself. That certainly isn’t what I paid for. When I called to let them know, the only answer I got from some man or kid was “Gotcha”. Really? Service was horrible, no respect to a customer and a mess up that was known to staff before we even left the place. I guess they figured we would eat it anyway. You guessed wrong. Instead of fixing it, it was a ‘so what’ attitude. Oh well, food is in the trash and that’s the end of Richard’s for us. Waste of money and time.

First time there, ordered a Philly Cheese steak and an eggplant grinder.Waited 27 minutes for order. The steak was done after 10 minutes and the Eggplant was done 17 minutes later. When I got home the Steak was cold and there was no cheese. The Eggplant was still hot bout it was bitter and slimy. Cannot recommend this place.The people were nice.

When placing an order for a steak and cheese grinder, I made sure it was shaved steak and NOT steak'ums. They assured me it was real shaved steak, but once I got home and unwrapped the grinder, I could tell it was still some pre-cut, comes-in-frozen product. Even the SMELL of the grinder on the car ride home was unpleasant, and the taste was even worse! Very disappointing — they're only getting a 2nd star because my husband enjoyed his salami and capicola, even though apparently grinders do NOT come toasted as a standard here, which was also very disappointing.

Grinders are always fresh and staff are friendly! Quick service. Recommend the cheeseburger grinder and the turkey club. Also have had the potato salad and the pasta salad. Cookies and brownies are also good and fresh. The pasta lunches and dinners are good for a quick fix...

Great place for GREAT Grinders. Fast service, quality food!!! Great place for those of us that need a quick quality meal to keep our day on schedule! And the price is just as good as food. You will never regret stopping by for a meal!!!!
