Rice Thai. Wow, what a treat. From the moment we walked in the door, we were met with a delightful experience. Warm and comfortably lit, the entire space creates a high class, but unpretentious dining experience. The seating is comfortable and cozy without feeling crowded. The holiday decor is charming without being garish or disrupting the existing atmosphere. And that is saying nothing of the food. We started with duck rolls, adorably plated and a generous serving which easily split in half so we could each enjoy it. The crispy duck itself perfectly paired with the flaky Roti wrapper. The brightness of the cucumber and the salty rich sauce cut through the sometimes overwhelming fattiness of the duck to make an easy-eating memorable appetizer. This Thai spot in Hagerstown is seriously such a gem. The ambiance is beautiful and unique - it feels really homey, super clean, and has this elegant but comfortable vibe. The decor is just stunning and makes the whole experience feel special. The food is amazing and honestly very reasonably priced for the quality and portion sizes. Everything came out pretty quickly too. The Thai iced tea is a must. The dumplings are a great appetizer, and the drunken noodles were sooo good, but pad see ew is top notch!! The servers are all really nice and patient, and the service overall was great. Pan especially stood out - she was so kind, thoughtful, and really went above and beyond for us. What a great place!! Our first time have Thai food and it was 10/10!! From the friendly waitress the moment we stepped in the door to the delicious food and the friendly guys that gave us tips about what we should try next time when they headed out it was fabulous!! My wife got the Drunken Noodles with chicken and I got the Crispy Chicken with fried rice, from the lunch menu. Best fried rice we’ve ever had!! The chicken was thin and tender and the sauce was amazing!!! We will definitely be back!!

Hagerstown’s best dinner spot! Excellent atmosphere, food, and service! The crispy duck & shrimp are favorites as well as all the appetizers. We’ve never ordered a dish we didn’t care for. Definitely end your dinner with mango sticky rice.

Okay, so I came to Rice Thai for the first time while in town visiting family. My parents hyped up the establishment, and I am always eager to visit a new Thai restaurant, so we took a ride out to Hagerstown. Walking in, I loved the feeling I got of entering someone’s home, which let me know that I was in for a true treat. O’ was I correct. First was the THAI ICED TEA which, seemingly simple, was quite delicious, balanced in sweetness and creaminess. The CALAMARI was light, crisp and cooked to perfection. The sauce was (I believe) a sweet-chili. For my main dish, I had the VEGETABLE DRUNKEN NOODLES. Pure heaven! It’s one of my favorite dishes anyhow, but this one tasted like a home-cooked meal! Just.
