Rice N' Beans Nazareth

The food here is absolutely amazing on a good day, but extremely Mediocre on other days I’ve eaten here over a dozen times in the past year, and I have to say that, despite the inconsistencies in the quality of the food, I still keep coming back even on a bad day rice and beans is one of the Better restaurants in Nazareth. If you are looking for a good place to get takeout, this is the spot for you. I highly recommend the burritos and empanadas. They are always filling in the sauce. They give you with the burritos and empanadas is incredible. The chips and guac are also great and the guac is always fresh and tasty. We ordered three meals from here and while two were okay, the fajita veggie tacos we got were extraordinarily plain and the choice of veggies used were strange to say the least. Broccoli, carrots, and green beans are as disorienting as you’d imagine on a taco, and the pico on the side was $2 for a side sauce cup big enough for about three chips’ worth. I am quite confident the veggies used for the “fajita veggies” are frozen mixed vegetables from Giant or something similar. Won’t be coming back, had a good experience at the other location though.

At one time, this was a 5⭐ place but unfortunately times have changed. Years ago, these burritos were second to none! 50% meat 50% rice/others. So good. But now you get an 80% rice burrito with minimal meat or cheese. Worse of all, this rice burrito can range from $15-20! Inflation is bad but paying ~$90 for 5 "rice filled" burritos is outrageous. Sadly, I'd rather make them at home now.

I stopped by for a quick lunch and ordered the chicken and cheese empanadas. They were made fresh to order! It was exactly what I needed as a quick pick me up comfort food craving! The empanadas were delicious, warm and flavorful! I enjoyed the spicy sauce paired with them as well.

Nice little place in Nazareth, PA. I visited Martin Guitar factory, then a quick lunch at this place. Portion is big and tasty. Must visit if you’d like a quick lunch around Nazareth.
