I drove over an hour to meet up with family (yes… on a Saturday night 😅), so I was already hoping it would be worth it. When I walked in and saw the place completely packed — inside full, patio full, people everywhere, even at the bar — I thought, okay… this is a good sign. I have dinner and lunch at Rice Barn many times. I have never been disappointed. They always maintain excellent service, no matter how busy they are. The food is consistently high-quality every time I have a meal here. I like their comfortable dining room. The outdoor dining area is good if the weather is pleasant. I know I will be back next time I'm in Vacaville.

Went here for an impromptu date night. This place brought back so many memories with the food and ambiance of being back in Thailand. I felt like a kid again, at my grandmother's home back in 🇹🇭. I will be back and bringing back my friends.

Took my little puppy here to help him get socialized, and they were so welcoming right from the start! We were seated in the cozy outdoor dining area, and even though it was a chilly winter night, the staff went above and beyond to make sure we stayed warm. They turned on heaters and checked in constantly. It made the whole experience super comfortable for my pup and family. The food was absolutely delicious—fresh, flavorful, and perfectly portioned. My puppy behaved like a champ (thanks to the relaxed vibe), and I left feeling like we’d found a new favorite spot. Highly recommend for anyone wanting to dine out with their furry friend.
