Walk in the door and get handed a menu. The waitress will bring your food out to you but will not take your order. You need to go back up to the register to order your food. Only two other couples in the place and the waitress still wrote down our order wrong. I told her regular tea twice and she insisted on writing down sweet. I was excited for a good home cooked meal. It seemed like everything was sitting in trays/pots and just slapped on our plate. Food was just mediocre. Pie was delicious but almost 8.00 for the slice!! The waitress thought we paid and was going to let us walk out the door. Thankfully we are honest people because they would have lost over $80.00. Might try again!

Welp! Won’t be going back to this place again. Definitely has changed since the last time I’ve been there. Walked in and asked if we knew how “it works there”. Nope! Got handed a menu, seated ourselves, when we were ready to order we had to go back up to the front and order. PRE-PAY and PRE-TIP. Crazy! Food came out and my ham loaf looked like dog food. It wasn’t the tastiest either. The green beans were 100% canned and unseasoned, and the mashed potatoes were instant. For $15.99 I was HIGHLY disappointed. I had then asked for a dessert “to go” and it was brought out before I was even ready to leave and the ice cream had melted before I had even left. Needless to say, I won’t be returning and I wouldn’t recommend. I don’t like to do reviews like this, but I was extremely disappointed with

Wow....what great local food! I've had the liver and onions which was tender and flavorful. We recently ate here and my mom had the beef tips w/gravy over noodles. It smelled and looked just like it came out of a recipe book! I had the chicken and waffles it was so great to have this dish in the Penn-Dutch style... so good. It brought back memories of grandma's cooking. The hot bacon dressing was a little too congealed, thick and not hot but the flavor was yummy. The service was efficient and friendly. You get a lot of food at competitive prices. Find a way to eat here.

Very cute little restaurant with good homemade comfort food. Service is very friendly and prices are reasonable. Desserts were wonderful.

A bit different from the last time I was there a few yrs ago ...but it was still delicious and great service...
