Ribs On The Run

My coworker told me about this place and how good the food was so I said let me give it a try. It truly met my expectations… the ribs fell right off the bone (tenderism lol) and that chicken, cornbread and mac and cheese were all good. The place is a little small but the vibe is great, it’s now like my getaway lunch spot.

LOVE LOVE LOVE RIBS ON THE RUN! The owner and her son are so attentive, sweet and caring. They take care of everyone they come into contact with and it’s a fun place to be on Thursday Karaoke Nights. I always get the Rasta Pasta with Shrimp and Cabbage or Collard Greens. The shrimp are huge and it’s such a tasty delicious meal that lasts me two to three servings. Soooooo good! Try it! You won’t be disappointed.🎉🎉💞

Feeling Saucy for Bar-b-que. Ribs-on-Run doesn’t get enough credit for being the best ribs spot in White Plains. This spot is legit the BEST ribs ever. FINGER-licking good…makes you want everything on the menu. We devoured those baby back ribs within seconds because they were so tender , delicious and saucy and they put just the right amount of sauce. It obvious they take their time to make the ribs and put that sauce all over. Ribs-on-the Run is an absolute delicious find.

My experience fell short of what I expected based on reviews. The “large” mac was $14.04 but noticeably undersized, and the strong garlic flavor overpowered everything else. The meat tasted more like fast-food quality than a quality meal, and the fries were soggy and bland. With the prices they charge, I expected fresher, better-prepared food. They are honestly charging prices more expensive than real BBQ at a spot like Hoodoo Brown BBQ. Mac there is $11 and Brisket for example $17 for 1/2 a pound where Ribs in the run is $19.55. Overall, disappointing… If you want a meal of fast food quality, this is the way to go.

I stopped by a few weeks ago while charging my car. When I say that the service lady was so nice and friendly, she really was hospitable. The food was really good especially the collard greens, I don’t even like collard greens but they didn’t have the broccoli and I am happy they didn’t!
