Rex's Pasta

Great experience! Just moved here to Cortland, come from an Italian household so the bar is high. I’ve seen some reviews complaining about the price and I have to disagree. Food is expensive these days…”NYC prices” can be found everywhere. When you spend less you get lower quality meals. The portions were great, the flavors were great, and the vibe in the restaurant was cool…I got takeout for and waited at the bar. My whole family was pleased with our meals. I’ll be back!

I have been here a few times when visiting family in the area. Always fresh and hot food, a variety of cocktails-wind and beer. The service is prompt and attentive. The bar is nice as well for chatting with friends, playing Quick Draw and or eating at the bar if tables are full. I would recommend making a reservation especially on the weekends. The only complaint on the last visit is apparently the prices have gone up but the price on the menu has not. Also a couple items were upgraded with additional garlic and or hot peppers and we did not request this but were charged for them. Although the waitress adjusted the bill she seemed annoyed about it. The drink menu has a wine on tap selection which we ordered from, but when going to the bar after dinner and ordering the same wine the bartend

We were greeted immediately with friendly service. Everything was super delicious from the bread, to the salad - I know, salad, but all the ingredients were super fresh and the dressing was delicious and they’re not stingy with it - to the pasta and sauce. I had the Alfredo which was so creamy and buttery and my husband had the ravioli and meatballs with a mixture of their regular and their spicy sauce. Chef’s kiss. Highly recommend.

It was my first time at Rex’s which is surprising because it’s been in my backyard for so long. I was beyond impressed! The bread is delicious, the starter salad was tasty, and I ordered the cavatelli, which I will be dreaming about. Staff were so very friendly and the place is super clean. It’s great to see a small business thriving. I highly recommend!

It was my boyfriend and i’s first time going there and it was AMAZING!! Such a cute place with great staff. A little pricey but the portions are good and it’s definitely made from the heart.
