I really wanted to show my fiance what BBQ really is and of course I know what you'll tell me you can't expect Boston to be that good. I agree, I grew up in the South and barbecue there is way better. But there were things like Mac n Cheese that were too buttery and not cheesey. The cheese tasted more like butter than cheese that I did not enjoy. The fries were immaculate though. My dino rib came with coffee seasoning or something like that and i just wanted some more umph on it. To me it wasn't that well seasoned in terms of flavor. In addition it came with the bone already off which made me think that it might have been reheated or something because the meat on the bone itself was already dry, and I just don't know why anyone would deprive me of a satisfaction of making that meat fall of
Food was really good. The cranberry BBQ sauce has a great balance of flavors. The crispy potatos, mashed potatoes and brisket were delicious. The only thing i say wasnt great were the wings. I had dry rub they were salty and I was expecting a smokey flavor. But definately worth a visit. Plus they have the best ginger beer ever!
We flew in from the UK, landed at 12pm and we're at the Reunion by 2pm, having researched it online before heading to Boston. Can honestly say it's the BEST introduction to Boston we could have hoped for. James is friendly and chatty but not at all intrusive. We knew what we were going to order before we entered, and my daughter and I had decided to order a few items from the lunch menu deal. Whilst waiting for our order, the playlist ROCKS, and the ambience is chill, relaxed. Absolutely brilliant! Brisket with Mac and cheese and the potato bites, pulled chicken with salad and slaw, and two soft drinks - came up to less than $40! So very happy we chose Reunion as our first stop for our week in Massachusetts. Thank you again, James!
Great service, very attentive and friendly staff. I’m a bbq fanatic and I am very fussy when it comes to bbq. The meats have good flavor. There are many options for sides and the food is good overall. Great drink options as well!
I had a great experience at this BBQ place. The food was flavorful, well-cooked, and served fresh. The meats were juicy and had a nice smoky taste, and the sides paired really well with the main dishes.
