Customer Reviews
Loved every bite. This restaurant offers truly authentic Polish meals. Whatever you try you will not be disappointed. I opted for pickle soup and chicken liver and it tasted exactly like in Poland. Every bite was delicious. Staff speaks Polish and English. You can hear some Polish spoken among the customers. It is also, very conveniently located across Polish grocery and book store. Definitely worth the trip.
This is our second time here and had such a lovely time with great comfort Polish food! The first time was in the summer and we planned to come again which did for our holiday GreenPoint visit last night. Did not disappoint! Food is delicious, reasonable prices and service is welcoming and on point! Love the neighborhood vibe.
Started with some Pierogi Ruskie (Potato & Cheese) and they were divine. Got them pan fried and the crust on them was so good, plus the lightly sweetened sour cream. Yum! For the main I got the Kotlet Schabowy (Pork Schnitzel) which was actually perfect. Super thin and very crispy, the potatoes were fresh and the egg on top was a nice touch. On the side was some Mizeria (cucumber salad) which was delish.
Absolutely loved this restaurant. It has a very cool atmosphere inside and the food was delicious. My wife got the Breakfast plate while I opted for the Serniczki. They were both priced at about 12 or 13 dollars, and were hearty and satisfying. We went on a Sunday morning and it wasn't crowded inside at all.
The atmosphere is perfect for solo diners at the bar. The service is always so personable, and the food is amazing every single time. It honestly reminds me of my grandma’s Polish cooking.
