Restrooms (Tavern on the Green)

Sorry, y’all do realize these reviews should be for the PUBLIC RESTROOMS at this location, and not for the restaurant, right? I’ve always found them clean, well maintained, and convenient. Oh, and hey, Kevin Baker, who’s the amateur reviewer here? ; )

The atmosphere is fantastic, but I'm not sure if the taste of the food is worth the price. It was expensive for the quality of the food. 🤷‍♀️

Tavern on the Green is an icon of Central Park and New York cuisine. It is famous for both it is location and the fine dishes it serves. Tavern on the Green has a rich and celebrated history. It’s funny, but it was created as a sheepfold for the sheep of Sheep Meadow. Yes, there were real sheep living and grazing there. There was even a shepherd moving them around. It was turned into the celebrated restaurant that it is today in 1934 as a part of the huge renovations in Central Park at that time. It went through several incarnations through the ages. The Tavern of the Green we know today was opened in 2013 by restaurateurs Jim Caiola and David Salama. Today, the menus is a pure classic, serving lunch, dinner and a weekend brunch. My personal favorites for lunch are Shaved Sirloin Steak San

Clean restrooms with all supplies needed. They even have the heater on, it was cold outside.
