Customer Reviews
Excellent customer service and hands down the best pupusas in the city. Fresh, flavorful, and perfectly made every time. You can really taste the care that goes into the food, and the staff makes you feel welcome from the moment you walk in. This spot is a must for anyone craving authentic Salvadoran food.
The restaurant was recommended to me and I went to see 👀 I was not disappointed. It was a sensory shock to me because of all the choices I had from food bakery goods even candy This is a place I'll return to. The staff even returned my wallet that I absentmindedly left behind 🙏🏾
We started with pupusas as an appetizer and let me tell you they never disappoint they are definitely one of my favorites in Charlotte. It was my first time trying the soup it was pretty good. My son said the torta de pollo was ok. My daughter enjoyed her rice and beans. Good customer service, good food, decent prices. Also they have a bakery and products from El Salvador! Def worth a try. Muchos Años después siguió siendo cliente! Súper recomendado
⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ | Incredible, authentic Salvadoran comfort food! I had an amazing meal at Restaurante Y Panaderia Salvadoreña. If you’re looking for the real deal, this is it. We ordered a bit of everything, and honestly, you can't go wrong. The pupusas were perfect—thick, handmade, and served with just the right amount of curtido and salsa. The main breakfast platter was a highlight; the fried plantains were sweet and caramelized, the beans and crema were super smooth, and the steak was seasoned perfectly. Even the simple things like the coffee and the hot chocolate were spot on. It felt like a home-cooked meal in the best way possible. The atmosphere is cozy, and you can tell they put a lot of heart into the food. I’ll definitely be coming back to try some of the bakery items next time!
Best Baleadas I have ever had! I had the vegetarian baleada, which was traditional with flair. Beans, eggs, avocado, cream, with the addition of pico de gallo! It was fantastic! I spent a month in Honduras, but this one topped any I had eaten. It was huge too! We also had yucca frita, which was amazing! The pupusa chicharron we very good, my husband loved them! The restrooms were clean and the staff was nice. There is an entrance on both sides of the building with one side featuring a small store with fresh breads.
