Restaurant La Jarochita

Authentic Mexican food made from scratch, this restaurant has a warm and inviting decor. Our server recommended the empanadas and chile rellenos, which were both incredibly delicious. We also tried the carne, al pastor, lengua, and shrimp tacos. The carne asada was our favorite taco. We also tried a shredded chicken tamale, which was flavorful, and the chips and guacamole. I highly recommend this lovely family-run business. It’s definitely the best Mexican food I’ve ever had in Maryland.

Delicious, authentic food!! 100% thee best authentic Al pastor street tacos around! The tres leches cake is a must try too. We feel lucky to have such a wonderful restaurant in our community and love supporting a small business. Jasmin and her family are so friendly and personable, we always enjoy coming here!

Delicious, authentic Mexican food being prepared and served by some of the friendliest folks around. We recently used Restaurant La Jarochita for a catering order and the tacos and empanadas were delicious, not to mention the outstanding, freshly made and prepared sauces and accompaniments. The planning, packaging and preparation was thoughtful and well executed. We, and our guests, could not have been happier with the food.

We have heard good reviews and wanted to try this restaurant. It is always good to go to small businesses. It is small and has a bit of a traditional feel. Our server was very friendly but there was a bit of a language barrier. It was tough getting some information on what to order. Our food was good.

My boyfriend and I LOVE La Jarochita! The prices are great, the food is amazing, and the service is wonderful! They have the BEST chips - warm, perfectly crispy, and just the right amount of salt. Their guacamole has the best flavor and ingredients. The street tacos are awesome - I get al pastor and asada. $2.50 for a street taco - great deal!! You NEED to try the green sauce. My food is always ready quickly when I order online or call in and they are the friendliest people to talk to.
