Food was pretty good. A little bland. The place is a cute place the people were friendly. The only thing that I had an issue with is the person that helped me didn't speak English at all. I thought that was kind of weird. I don't know if that's normal in the United States to get waited on by someone that doesn't know English. Other than that the place was clean and the food was edible
Great papusas! Tried the bean and cheese, green chile and cheese, as well as the zucchini and cheese which was the best! The flavor was incredible- highly recommend that one. The rest were yummy as well but that one was stand out. Our waitress was super sweet and its a cute little place overall!
This is the first time I ate a pupusa. They looked and smelled delicious! The two I tried were excellent. A friend of mine said these were the best pupusas in Albuquerque. After trying the pupusas, I believe him. I will be going there again and taking my family and extended family. It looks like like a typical restaurant from Central America, which I thought was very cool! When I was there, all the clientele were Spanish speaking which is a very good sign, in my opinion. I am assuming they speak English, but I am not sure because we spoke Spanish to the waitress. Just be aware, the food is Salvadoran, not Mexican or New Mexican. For example the horchata is in El Salvadoran style, not Mexican or New Mexican. It was excellent and I joined it a lot. I will definitely going back again and
I love papusas and have been eating them whenever possible since the 1980s, when I lived in LA, so I'm not just some clueless gringo. I've tried all the Salvadoran restaurants in Albuquerque and like this one best.
Omg I am thoroughly satisfied. This was the best experience to have El Salvadorian food. Pupusas are my new favorite thing in this world. Definitely coming back.
