Resie's Restaurant

I had the pleasure of visiting Resie’s today for brunch. This cozy restaurant is located in downtown Duluth. They are currently serving brunch Tuesday-Sunday from 11-3. The staff was very friendly, the restaurant was warm and inviting, and most importantly the food was delicious. They serve a family style menu. You select 2 proteins, 3 sides, and 1 breakfast bread. Everything came out hot and seasoned to perfection. We tried the fried chicken, fried catfish, scrambled eggs, fried green tomatoes, seasoned potatoes, and French toast. I don’t have one bad thing to say about the food, staff, or the restaurant. We listened to Christmas music and then got a chance to watch a concert on the screen in the dining area. I will most definitely be returning to this family owned gem!

I had such a wonderful time with my family at Resie’s. The food prepared by Resie and Chef Will are amazing. We enjoyed every bite of their southern comfort food. The staff there makes you feel so welcomed and the atmosphere is so relaxing. Yes please stop by the restaurant to have an amazing experience like I did. Also, go meet aunt Valerie too, front end manager she’s so sweet! I will be back soon. Thank you to the staff @ Resie’s

Been waiting on this little gem to open in Duluth Town Center and all I can say is some things are definitely worth the wait! Resie’s Restaurant will take you back to a time when you stopped by your Mom or Grandmas house for Sunday dinner. The dinner table is already set and you wait only a few moments before they bring you plate after plate of delicious southern comfort food. It’s served hot , well seasoned , and tastes delicious. Don’t be surprised if you can’t finish it all. My husband and I tried but we failed. Not to worry though! They let you take the rest with you.

Resie's Restaurant is a gem in Duluth Town Center. I went in for Brunch with my husband before the Christmas Holiday and everything was good. The food came out fast, was well seasoned and very hot. Unfortunately we have not been able to go back . They have been closed for a few weeks due issues caused by to the winter storm. I sure hope they are able to re-open soon.

I should have taken pictures but was too busy enjoying the food as it came out. Absolutely delicious and fresh. Enjoyed a birthday brunch with a friend and we sat talking about the food and who all we were going to share Resie’s with. We are both long time Duluth residents… happy to have this beautiful spot to enjoy!!
