I came here by myself while on a work trip in DC and absolutely loved the food and service! While this was on the higher end, I wanted to have one nice dinner while here and this place satisfied everything I wanted! I ended up getting an elderberry drink, humus w/ pomegranate, and a lamb dish, all being fantastic! The overall atmosphere and restaurant was upbeat with low lighting, and I could see this being a nice place to come out for drinks and dinner with people or solo dining again in the future if I am back in DC.
Nice interior with the ceiling floral design. Great date-night spot. About $40 per person. Ordered 4 large plates (octopus, fish, risotto, etc) and they were all solid. The staff were friendly as well.
Had a very cute vibe-y Sunday morning brunch here with my family. We sat outside on the patio and loved all the decorations on the ceiling. Definitely stuffy in the summer though! Most importantly, all the food was delicious! We had the avocado toast, merguez and sweet potato hash, salmon toast, and quinoa bowl. And the bacon?! Wow, delicious. I’d love to come back and try more of the menu! Everything sounded great!
I had such a fantastic experience at Residents Bar & Café! The vibe and ambiance are exactly what I love — cozy, stylish, and welcoming, with a lively energy that makes you want to linger. The staff were attentive, and friendly. I started with the Watermelon & Heirloom Tomato salad with Persian cucumber, feta, mint, and za’atar. This was my first time trying watermelon paired with tomatoes, and it completely exceeded expectations — refreshing, vibrant, and perfectly balanced. Then came the Charred Octopus, and wow. With red chermoula, potato croquettes, lemon aioli, pickled cherry tomatoes, Aleppo pepper, and cilantro, every bite was bursting with flavor. It was so memorable that I’ve actually been recreating it at home every week — though nothing compares to how well it’s done here. Be
Came here for my best friend’s birthday brunch (visiting from out of town) and we had the best experience!! Brandon greeted us with the biggest smile and made us feel so welcome. Our server Erlin was so friendly and helpful, definitely ask for him! The vibes were great and the food was incredible definitely coming back whenever I’m in DC!
