Came back a few times for group dinners despite a rough first impression. After multiple visits, here’s a very condensed ordering guide (out of 5). Best picks: • Lobster with E-fu noodles (5): Steamed, fresh, sweet. • Typhoon shelter crab (5): Very well done and consistent. • Mustard shredded chicken (4.5): Tender and refreshing. Okay / hit or miss: • Oysters (3–5): Quality depends on season. • Braised eel (3–4): Flavor is right but can be oily. • Typhoon shelter eggplant (3–5): Good when fried properly. Skip: • Lamb stew (1): Strong odor. Overall: Inconsistent execution, but seasoning is generally correct. Seafood quality matters—ask what’s fresh and follow their recommendation. Best for large groups where you can order a variety.

I enjoyed my dinner at Renton Seafood Restaurant when I visited Seattle. They have the best customer service and the best chef for seafood and other dishes. They have a very comfortable dining room. This is one of my best meals in the Seattle area. They know what they do and do it right. Plus the excellent services we received from the employees and the owner. I am sure I'll be back next time when I come to Seattle again!

Multiple friends recommended Renton Seafood Restaurant’s Roasted Duck (aka BBQ Duck) so we had to go try it. The decor of the restaurant is typical of most neighborhood Chinese restaurants but it is bright and well-kept. Menu offers a good balance of vegetarian and non vegetarian options, a good variety of seafood dishes, and some interesting chef’s special. We ordered the Roasted Duck and it did not disappoint. It was SO good! The skin was crispy, and the meat was tender, juicy and flavorful. Steamed Oysters with Garlic and Scallions were fresh and tasty. The Sautéed Fish Fillet was a bit salty but still decent. The Stir-Fried Cured Meat with Veggies and Lotus Root was refreshing and the Beef Chow Fun was tasty. Food was served promptly, service was good, and prices were reasonable! A

This is a better Chinese restaurant than I like it in Renton.

I had medium expectations from this place. Ordered hunan beef, seafood chowmen. Both were tasteless and oily. Even the chilly oil was bland and just spicy. The only thing I liked was walnut shrimp but was on sweeter side, kinda unexpected as an entree. Ruined my night.
