Renee's Cold Cut Hut

I see 2 gentlemen walking out of this place with a smile on their faces so naturally I had to try it! Let’s just say they have me as a customer now ! Very good hoagie! Very fresh and friendly atmosphere! What I loved the most it was the first time I was there and the I asked the lady what she recommended and she said what most people get and suggested what to get on it if I liked it or not. What a great hidden gem in the area ! 10 stars if I could!

My first visit here for food. I stopped on a Tuesday. They have a $6 hoagie each day according to the menu. The Italian hoagie was the special for Tuesday so that's what I ordered. It was definitely a solid hoagie for only $6.

Renee's has great breakfast sandwiches as well as great lunch sandwiches. Their prices are more than fair, and the food is always fresh. The folks who work there are so friendly, and you're treated like you are their long lost best friend when you walk in. They are strictly "take out" and I highly recommend them.

Passed through White Haven on my way up north and was in the mood for a shop. Renee’s has that quintessential Mom & Pop feel to it. It feels like your home, or at a friend’s house. It’s inviting. Who I presume to be Renee had our sandwiches ready in 10 minutes. The quality of the meats, cheeses, and bread were exceptional. I got the Italian and my girlfriend got a turkey sub with American. We ate in front on the Delaware & Hudson train near the community garden. Renee’s closes at 3 and there’s a sign inside that says the slicer is turned off 15 minutes before closing. Shortly after 2:45, I saw a man walked up to the front door only to see him realize it was locked. He took a few steps back, then Renee opened the door and invited him in. We NEED more stores like this in America!

Great tasting hoagie. The portion and price are extremely great value for an excellent tasting and fresh sandwich. Pictured is roast beef, provolone, lettuce, tomatoes, onion, with oil and vinegar.
