Renea's Kitchen At Midway

Small town, cute place. I don’t believe they were expecting how busy they would be for breakfast on Labor Day. Definitely needed more staff, had to wait extended time for everything. Would have given a five for the service due to effort and politeness however a regular came in and was given his order prior to other tables with orders in. Food was great pancake was huge with warm syrup. Omelette was generously filled with lots of veggies and meats. Disappointed they ran out of biscuits. Would return. Key lime cake and red velvet cake were ok,dry.

Absolutely amazing gem of a place hiding so close to home. Good food, caring staff, TRUE southern hospitality atmosphere- I'm so upset we haven't been here sooner and more frequently. I look forward to returning! My husband is certainly ready for another good country fried steak! Thank you so much for being so kind and offering such amazing service to a quiet area!

It’s a great country style restaurant, locally owned and very much worth the trip. If you are visiting the McMinnville or Rock Island area I would highly suggest visiting this restaurant. The staff is amazing and the food is as well.

First time to Renea’s Kitchen and it was amazing! We had the daily specials -chicken fried steak and the BBQ platter. Everything tasted great and you can tell it’s made with love and passion. All the sides were incredible and the service is perfect. We’ll be back for sure!!!!

Charming restaurant, clean with plenty of room. The service was exceptional and the food was served hot and freshly prepared. Definitely worth the visit, highly recommend. The potato salad is legit! “Almost” as good as mom’s 🤣
