Our group of four had a lovely experience at Madame Rouge. Amazing food and attentive service. We started with Baked Camembert (to die for) mussels (amazing). Delicious quality main courses. Very glad to have a quality French restaurant back in this space.
Everything was really good. The restuarant is homey, the staff is great, the food was so good! Nothing was overly salted and it was a perfect Sunday night dinner. We are already planning another dinner here with more friends! The salmon and beef were great. The owner Alex made sure that everything was cooked to our liking, and even offered to cook the salmon more if it was too pink for our liking. The ratatouille was perfect! Healthy and comforting. They are getting their liq license very soon too. We will be back.
Wanted to like this place. We need a good French spot in the neighborhood! But the food is really quite bad. Especially for the price. My foie gras was not seared at all and had a weird color. Looked like a student plate for $28! And the French onion soup had a weird sourness to it. Maybe Worcestershire sauce? The fries were cold and wrinkly like it was made from frozen supermarket brand. The kids burger steak had zero seasoning/taste. Really unfortunately. Staff was lovely but Hope they work on the food.
Stopped by Remos to get out of the house and do a little work and loved it. Coffee and a croissant for only $6! Friendly staff, cozy atmosphere, and a perfect neighborhood spot. I’ll definitely be back and highly recommend it to all my neighbors!!
Just had a 4 person brunch meeting at this nice new French place in Chelsea. The owner took such good care of us. Loved the French onion soup, the salads and main dishes won't disappoint either. Its on a corner with large windows and outdoor seating for people and dog watching. Good to have another cute spot in the hood.
