I have never in all 30 + years on earth went into an establishment as one like this one, with one goal, some caribbean food ( which is my favorite kind of food) Also being a cook, and have culture through my veins. I must start with; I was treated with the utmost professional, Generous, swift, friendly customer service I have ever experienced living or visiting NJ, the food is 10/100. I mean that sincerely. Tried this place for the first time. Ordered a jerk chicken plate that came with rice & peas and cooked cabbage. Chicken was moist not dry and had good grill flavor. Even without the jerk sauce I found everything very flavorful. (Jerk sauce is more bbq than jerk- a note for those who dont like that). Customer service was pleasant, they were patient with me figuring out the menu and options. My only negative is the outside appearance of the shop, at first I thought it was closed with the black metal gates only partially open- might turn folks away, not as inviting. Will definitely be back to try other dishes!
