I read the reviews before visiting, so I already knew about the "legend" of Wayne. But after experiencing his hospitality firsthand, I’ve realized the legend is actually an understatement. Wayne is a master of his craft. On my first visit, I was tired, homesick, and starving. I stopped in for a drink while waiting for a to-go order, carrying a bottle of wine I'd bought elsewhere (I just needed an opener). Wayne didn't just "serve" me; he looked after me. He recommended the Pork Chop Risotto (incredible, by the way) and crafted a "spicy old fashioned" that was not necessarily the best drink I've had in a long time, but it certainly opened my eyes to a different way of crafting a cocktail—he didn't even charge me until I told him I liked it. I had a truly wonderful experience at Redz, thanks in large part to Wayne the bartender. From the moment I sat down, Wayne made the visit memorable. He was creative, attentive, and incredibly engaging—exactly what you want in a top-tier bartender. His drink recommendations were spot-on, and he even crafted a custom cocktail based on a few preferences I mentioned. It’s clear he takes pride in his work and genuinely enjoys connecting with guests. He balanced professionalism with a warm, welcoming energy that elevated the whole experience. If you’re visiting Redz, I highly recommend sitting at the bar and asking for Wayne. You won’t be disappointed.

Wayne is the best bartender!!! Always a fun friendly engaging atmosphere with great drinks and tasty bites. Creative cocktails from Old Fashioned variations to moonshine ciders and house infused sangria. Apple Cider Moonshine was delish!

Redz is a great restaurant tucked away inaide the Doubletree by Hilton. Wayne has invented a new drink, the Lava Lime. The delicious cocktail was amazingly smooth, a pleasure to the taste buds wether sipping or slamming. I highly recommend this drink and #Redz

Amazing service and even better bartender! The old fashions are definitely worth the visit alone with Wayne. Pork chop, penne vodka, all very good. Live music (Monday night) was also enjoyable.
