Redding Library

As of 8/18, the library is currently under repair and for all but one very small room, closed. I was told for 3 months but not sure when the repairs started. Don’t rely on to get any significant work accomplished here until it is back up in full.

If it's under construction adjust the hours and make notice. I arrived and the doors were open and there's a tiny room they pretend to be open and collect a paycheck while refusing everyone from actually using the building. Also homeless everywhere outside. Waste of time

Great library with lots of books of many varieties. Cool kids play area with Legos a market.

This is a fantastic library! They have a huge selection of books, and great options to borrow from other libraries. They also offer audio books, movies, magazines, CDs, sheet music, etc. Their website is easy to use for browsing the collection, putting books on hold, and seeing the programs they offer. Lots of stuff for kids, teens, and seniors! The book sale is a great place to find cheap books as well. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. While there are homeless people around, the library is a safe, free place to be, so don't blame the library for people hanging out.

Very clean, which is surprising due to the amount of homeless people around the area and outside when they open. I try to go here weekly with my mentor so we can talk privately. We get one of the rooms that are available for meetings. It's a nice set up. I have used the library "books" part as well as the computers too.
